Living in Newfoundland and Labrador, Courtney Clarke focuses her work on the feminist intersections of violence prevention, gender parity, and economic wellbeing.
Courtney is particularly dedicated to getting more women and gender-diverse individuals elected. She has been working on electoral campaigns for a decade and has taught campaign schools and training sessions for hundreds of progressive Canadians seeking electoral roles and appointment strategies since 2021. Courtney also works on political retention through enhancing policies, procedures and legislation with various governments and community organizations across the country. Prior to self-employment, Courtney was best known for her role as National Director of Programs for Equal Voice Canada.
Courtney has been appointed to the Provincial Advisory Council on the Status of Women for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador since 2023. Courtney is also elected to her second term as a Director of the Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union (NLCU), representing the financial interests of more than 20,000 members and more than a billion dollars in assets.
For her commitment to community, Courtney was recognized by the Women’s Executive Network as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in 2022, was a recipient of the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights award in 2023, and profiled in Atlantic Business Magazine as one of the Top 20 Most Powerful Women in Business in 2025.

As the founder of Emily Feairs Coaching, Emily is on a mission to help women get into the leadership roles they deserve. With over 12 years of coaching experience and a CPCC certification from the CoActive Training Institute, she has the skills and knowledge to support women in overcoming challenges, achieving their goals, and creating a career that they love without the sacrifice.
Living in Toronto, Ontario, Emily has a background in psychology, strategic communications, and public relations, She has worked in both the private and public sectors as a director, chief of staff, and senior consultant. She understands the dynamics and demands of high-achieving women, and uses a trauma-informed approach to help them develop their mindset, confidence, and leadership skills. Emily also partners with companies that value diversity in their leadership and offer workshops, speaking, and organizational change management services to foster a culture of inclusion and empowerment.
